On this trip, besides a little sightseeing, a lot of ash trees were examined and collected.
Immersed in the Gulf of Mexico at Carrabelle Beach, Florida. The tiny line of red color way out there is a 'boom' to catch drifting oil, but we didn't see any oil along this part of the coast.
A quick vacation to central Colorado in early August. We stayed in a cabin at the far end of this valley, which carries the North Fork of the Arkansas River. View looking south southeast.
